Tau’alofa Anga’aelangi grew up in the Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga. In 1992, she migrated to Australia with her whole family. Tau’alofa is a candidate to the ministry of Deacons, in the Uniting Church of Australia.
“The continuous movement and relocations of our world has been a part of me; as well as my strong Methodist and Tongan background. These three things are vital to my journey and they continue to shape the person I am in this place that I now call home. My passion is in the realm of social justice, migration, refugees and the Hebrew Bible.”
Tau’alofa, together with Maria Tiinon (Kiribati) will provide a Pacific Climate change response. Different stories, different experiences, but one message from two Pacific women.
